Part of the reason is that the game uses 2D assets □♂️ I didn't say that to imply that it's impossible, but rather that it's not as simple as it would be if the environments were fully 3D. what, over 20 years ago? But the question was, can the camera be rotated right now? And the answer to that is, no it cannot. probably only a couple of elements such certain furniture would require a bit of work, but most modular assets already have all the elements needed for add such a thing. Now Zomboid uses 3d models for characters, maybe they could consider a rotation option. The page serves as a platform for users to share their experiences, tips, and tricks related to using Maschine, as well as to ask questions and get support from other members of the community. I think remembering other such Wild terra also haderotation option being totally 2D. A community dedicated to the discussion of the Maschine hardware and software products made by Native Instruments. one not too old is shadow tactics, while they use pre-rendered 3D models for most stuff, at the end there is no difference between that and this one. TBH being 2D doesnt invalidate the chance of rotate, as if you develop all 4 angles per item you can easily provide different views that should feel like rotations. There are 3D objects and characters themselves are 3D, but the world is composed of 2D assets. The world is a 2D, isometric environment with a lot of 2D objects. Problem solved? We all happy now? The camera can be adjusted for either mounting scenario by rotating it to the required position. Decide if the camera will be wall-mounted or sit on a desk/tabletop. (It would be a great feature to have 360 degree adjustable increments, so that a user could physically install the cam however it best fits, then “level” the image in the software.) Considering Ring warranties (and extends the warranty for Ring Protect Plus) their outdoor cams, they would be losing money by all the claims by those inverting their outdoor cams (yes, water or dirt will eventually get into the electronics of the inverted cam). Second, I understand why Ring stopped allowing rotation for their outdoor cams…they are weather-resistant in the correct upright orientation, but not updside down or even sideways. Problem solved? This solution doesn’t cost the user any more money, is quick, and costs the least for Ring (a software change is way quicker and costs way less than changing the harware to make it waterproof/IP65+). The user could click “I agree” to continue or “Cancel” to cancel the setting change.
